I just used microsoft word starter 2010 and copied and pasted and it shows the number at the bottom.

Um, wow. I probably should I read how you did it before I just went and counted all the words in my article manually.....

Thank you so much Whittni! I had no problem with copy and paste this time - my article "Chicken TV and the story of a flock" is 3725 words! That's quite lengthy! Hope it's not too long!

I am about half way through my article: Trimming your chicken's nails, beaks, and spurs-tutorial

I added beaks to it, cause I generally do all of these at the same time.

So 2,100'sh words is the number to beat, lol.
