I've entered a few articles in these competitions over the years. Some I expected to do rather well but didn't do as well as I expected. I didn't expect this article to do particularly well, it's a bit dull and I expected it to slip quietly away largely unread. Expectations, one can never tell.
Thank you very much to those who've read and rated it. Thanks also to the judges and others involved in the competition. Thank you also to my competitors who have taken the time and trouble to enter their articles and help keep this competition alive.
