Man, I just saw this. I've got some really, really ugly molting chickens right now! My black Australorp and the EEs look the worst. I'll see if I can remember to take some pics tomorrow.

She is a Sicilian Buttercup - one of my original girls. This is the hardest molt any of my birds have gone through. She's 2 1/2 years old.


Kathy, you cheater! Nothing makes them look more pathetic than when they are wet! I'm waiting for my English Orps to molt - they are just past a year old now.
