Here's for the all other breeds category! He's one of my standard American Game roosters.

My flock is already molting big time but only one bird is really impressive looking yet. Eggs are just about nil at the moment.

Feathers are flying everywhere.

4 out of 5 of mine are molting but they're still giving me eggs. Not sure what to make of that, but guess it's good!

When I've had birds molt in the past, all egg laying ceased. This is just strange (in a good way) to me.

There are some feathers in the run, but the only thing obvious when looking at all the birds so far is that my drake lost his curl

My hens don't seem to realise they're supposed to be molting, still have pretty much all their feathers!

Here is my Silkie, Olive, for the "All Other Breeds" category. Not only is she molting, but it's been raining nonstop so her poor head looks really bad!

This is her first molt!

One of my Jersey Giants won this category several years ago. She would jettison nearly every feather and walk around naked and shivering for nearly three weeks till she finally had some coverage again. Not exactly a proud honor to earn but if you are going to molt like that, you might as well own it.
