The measure altitude (via barometric pressure) changes accompanied by stepping. I can get many flights of steps here (high altitude, volatile air pressure) just walking into a stiff breeze.

i have to take mine off when riding jet ski for that reason! not a perfect system but it does work for me i. the office at least

yes for that same reason, i’ve learned to take it off when riding the jet ski

yes that one is the newer version between the charge and the big dog.....i was considering that one but my charge 2 was basically new though now obsolete since charge 3 came out....you kill me with with the oh btw this has just been laying around stuff!!

That’s a lot of stuff! Thanks. Hmm I wonder if I’ll wear it to bed or not. I guess I’ll try it out and see if it’s comfortable, I’m not used to wearing stuff on my hands. I don’t even wear my wedding ring because I refuse to resize it. (It was a size 4 but after pregnancy that is not my finger size anymore).

I wear mine on my ankle all day but move it to my wrist at night for sleeping.

You will get used to wearing it and you will not notice it after a few days.
Just ignore it.

i haven’t worn my wedding band in years for similar reasons and that it not a good idea with my profession.....BUT since getting and wearing fitbit, it’s like a part of my body and i miss it when it’s off charging!! (but maybe that’s because i’m from a generation that wore watches??)

I left the house the other day with my Fitbit not he charger.
I was pissed when i realized it after a few hours.
I had to come home to get it.

I thought only certain ones measured the heart rate?

Also I’ve read that other ones like the Samsung one might possibly be better or cheaper? Cause they do more or track it more automatically or whatever? Do you find that to be true?

Fitbit is the best.
