You can feed it to your chickens. Onions contain a compound that causes hemolysis. Humans produce an enzyme which neutralizes this compound, but dogs do not. However, cooking also neutralizes the compound. It's safe to feed cooked onions to your dogs. IME, chickens don't eat raw onions--not that I've tried, but they're the only scraps left untouched in the compost. So I made chicken broth with my leghorns. What do you guys do with the vegetables? I strained them out so I have soggy veggies now
Last time I fed them to my dog and he loved them because they smelled like chicken and I left some chicken pieces for him but I recently read onions are bad for dogs so I may not do that again.
Can I feed it to my chickens?
Or what do you guys do with it?
The veggies I added was simple stuff like onions, garlic and carrots.

They're a blast! Even when you do some five hundred squats -- though, then they're only fun until the morning, when your thighs begin screaming obscenities.Friday nights get fun.
