I missed the "porcupine" shot when all of her new feathers suddenly sprouted at the same time last week, but here's my beloved Zen, another NN Turken, with her new feathers finally coming in after over a month of being mostly bald. Pebbles, a Dorking-mix with a bare back hangs out with her a lot, and fully feathered Fancy seems determined to hang out nearby and strut her stuff now that she's "fully clothed" again.

Well, I have to say that I am a little disappointed with Dusty this year, definitely not up to par with the moulting pics she has provided for the competition in past years

While I know this one is not going to be a winner, I am sharing because I think the one feather sticking out of her back and the fact that she has no tail is kinda cute and it would not be moult season without at least one embarrassing picture of Dusty

This was taken in May this year [our moult time here in Aus].
