We made the most amazing homemade fig and rosemary focaccia bread with honey lemon glaze from our own honey and rosemary from our garden!

1. I have many hobbies, but one of my favorites is rabbit breeding. I breed pedigreed Holland Lops for show and pets. I have lived a life filled with rabbits and litters, but I am by no means an expert. I do try to be as educated as possible, however - and I have my rabbit vet on speed dial for back-up.

Why I love it: I love that I get to help the children of my community learn to care for animals both for 4H and as pets. The children are the future of loving animal husbandry I also LOVE having my little rabbits and watching them grow.

When: I breed doe(s) about 2-3 times a year and have 2-4 adults at any given time. My main buck, Radish, is my scrumptious little pet and I will never sell him. I do not practice intensive breeding.

Money: I net about $500/year after expenses (my babies sell for $80-$120), but I have no intention of growing this as a "business". It's just for love and snuggles.

Entry 1

My first hobby is sketching!

I love the aspect of how it brings me joy (which really defines hobby though). My main sacrafice for it is time. Good art takes time and energy. Everyday, I work on different animals to sketch. From chickens, to ducks, to cows, to horses, and now, lions. I started sketching lions recently. Working on anatomy and structure.

I am self-taught, so definitely not an expert, not thaf one cannot be a self-taught expert, but I am not . I do not make income on it, but it wouldn't hurt to get some side income, although passion is what drives me. I also like to draw for other people.

These are some of my sketches. I just recently started sketching lions, so that is why they are the worst. I do not mind constructive critisizm. The last picture is the one I am doing right NOW!

My next hobby is photography. I am a not an expert at all!

I took photography as an elective, but it was too boring. I just like to play with it and take photos, not really learn about the function of a camera and all of the films, pentaprisms, and history involved in it all. I mainly like to take photos of chickens.
