RULES:

1. All entries must be submitted as a pic reply to this thread.
2. Give a brief description of the entry and mediums you use.
3. Only two entries per member with one photo per entry.
4. Any form of art - even wearable art - is permitted.
5. Entry must be your own creation recent or from the past.
6. No fake editing, photoshopping.
7. Entries will be judged primarily on originality and creativity.
8. All BYC Rules apply.

It must be too early in the morning for me. When I saw this title, I thought it was a contest for art done BY chickens.

I hand painted a plain wooden chicken. I used acrylic paint and sealed it so that I could use it as sort of a weathervane ornament on top of my son's coop. He has a Speckled Sussex chick and this is what I hope she will turn out like when she is full grown. Her name is Francesca! I didn't make the wood chicken, just hand painted it.

I'm not an artist, but I did this painting of my bantam rooster for a hobby I do (Quest Scouts). It's acrylic paint on a piece of wood in an impressionist style. The rooster got caught by a predator, but I still have the painting up with one of his tail feathers on it.
