Hmmm, wonder what medium pumpkin carving falls into....there isn't even a wood carving. Oh well, it is a pumpkin that I carved this past Halloween of a Silver laced Wyandotte hen and chicks. I did a lot of surface carving on the hen, and the chicks were just cut out.

That's definitely art, IMO. Love it.

This contest is great. It's like having a gallery visit without having to go anywhere. Knicky Knack your little silkie is the sweetest thing ever posing for his beautiful portrait. awwwww.
