With our turkey kit, we made egg white and powdered sugar icing and it sets up like cement.

Just beat egg whites until stiff and stir in powdered sugar until it is a thick paste, and put in a baggie. Snip off a tiny corner of the bag and you are good to go.

Can't wait to see the barn!

Well...we're working on it between cat naps

It won't be "official" because I'm co-host to Debby....but got the GB house/coop done today .... and it has not fallen apart (this time).

Made the first batch of Royal Icing by myself ('cause Budcat was napping) and it was too, too thin...so Buddy added some more powdered sugar and finished the construction

But we have a surprise coming soon ...

Just some word to the wise - do not trust recipes you find on the internet.
Me and Buddy thought we'd have this thing ready and practiced new things with Play Dough today, but a really bad recipe for our new adventure went South..

Lots of pot cleaning and tossing out mishaps ,but the second recipe worked well. Can't wait to get it all together to post a pic.

I have to work tomorrow, and Thursday, but if that cat will get to work, we'll get the finale posted by the DEADLINE .

Can't get my photos loaded. I'm sure it's not a camera or computer problem, it's simply user-error. Cannot figure out how to get pictures from my camera to the iMac. I'll try again tomorrow, once I've had a chance to freshen up my patience factor.
