I started collecting rocks around 2008 as I was walking around at my son’s school swim meets and park and school football games or if we went anywhere special
there’s so many rocks in the ground
I wash them and put them in glass and plastic containers and baskets at work and home
I am big on rock collecting too, I am constantly picking up pretty stones, odd looking rocks and out here occasionally I find ancient artifacts that at first glance just look like stones but turn out to be scraping tools or even parts of or entire arrowheads. Even found some dinosaur bones a couple times!

Yes I do! These are all "petrified" I am guessing as they are all stone now, but especially the one on the bottom you can see the bone marrow, somewhat in the top one, the middle one is peely like dried bone might shard....

That is so cool! I love that you have your own collection!
We have a dinosaur museum in Central Wisconsin, they will even travel around the state.
I laugh every time there is a tour and the tour guide has the kids hold coprolite and asks the kids to describe it, what does it feel like, what does it smell like, etc. And then the guide explains that s/he just smelt dinosaur poop. The crowd always roars in laughter.

:D Its funny what kids say and think. They love dinosaurs! I did too as a kid!!

This was all an inland sea way back when, so it's easy to find all kinds of things. This is an ancient native american pueblo so lots of artifacts can be found as well. All this stuff dates back 1,200 years...

Arrowheads whole and partial, some scrapers...
