FYI for those that don’t know - these fly! And they love shiny objects like earrings, they love to scare the crap out of us Hoomans by flying onto shoulders and playing with earrings…. Yup, I scream like a girl and I am good with that

oh ok! She's so cool! Oh wow really?

You should have seen the chooks! They didn’t know what to make of her! She was all flared up with wings out and legs all spread out defensively.

I didn’t want her to be injured so I rescued her. I used my manure rake to move her out of the way of the chickens. I checked on her and she hung around for a few days.
