I've used all three before, but I prefer the pellets.They don't seem to waste as much... and the wind doesn't blow it away nearly as easily.

And if it isn’t, why not?
I would think pure, whole ingredients would be good. Not cheap pellets..

This is what everyone thinks...until they start having serious issues when their birds start having problems from not getting a BALANCED diet because they have the choice to pick and choose what they want to eat each day.

My girls seem to like to have the crumbles better than pellets. I've never tried mash

I've never tried pellets or mash, but crumbles work well for me. My hens get a mixture of Scratch & Peck, and another more standard layer crumble.

Your birds are still young, correct? Switch them now to a crumble or pellet before you start seeing problems.

Other than starter followed by grower, all of my poultry are fed pellets. There is far less waste of pellets than there is of crumbles.

I'm hoping my chickens like pasta, I made a whole big pot, and home made sauce. The guests I invited, cancelled 10 minutes ago. So it's just me and the chickens tonight. Their loss!

The chickens loved it! went crazy swallowing pasta! A little treat once in a while never hurt them.
