When they've grown up together as chicks, you'd think they'd be best buds forever. Guess not always

Right, the flock dynamics change and it’s no fun anymore. I am so glad we have a local poultry swap. There are people who would love to have already laying hens. It’s a win win situation for me.

I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one that has conversations with chickens. Sometimes I have whole conversations with them. Every time I walk out to the coop I say "Hello sweeties" and they all come running to the door.
