I have only one of the hens from my last post.... So -4 from the old flock.
I bought chickens on craigs list. 3 hens and a rooster. +4
I now have a hen that goes broody. She has had 6 chicks after sittin on eggs 3 different times. +6


So...

1 + 4 - 4 + 6 = 7

Sigh, One of the young hens I entered just last week ate a wasp. It must have gone down the wrong way. She gave out a horrable squack. In minutes her neck swelled up and she suffacated,

Lost one of 2 in isolation,they were acting fine and next day pooping blood and dead, may loose the other that was with her, before flock introduction, apparently cocci so treating the remaining

Lost one of my buff orpingtons from the main flock over night, was fiesty and good when we went to bed and woke up to a black head,comb and wattles, dead bird
