- This is counting chickens only like the first post says to do! I did not count ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, peafowl, pheasants, or any other species that was listed in any post.

I've only had chickens for 2 years, but I LOVE them! Right now I have 3 Buff Orrpingtons, a silver laced Wyandotte, a red sex link, a golden sex link, and 2 easter egg bantams! $ are 2 years old and 4 are about 6 months; all are laying nearly everyday!

I've got 44, ranging in age from 5 days to 4 yrs (10 easter eggers, 2 buff orpingtons, 3 barred rocks, 2 RIR, 6 production reds, 1 brown leghorn, 3 spangled orloffs, 3 welsummes, 2 feather legged cuckoo marans, 1 silver laced wyandotte, 6 gold laced wyandottes, and 5 surprises - will have to wait until their older to see what they are.)
