Squizz....I think she does look more like a Barred Rock, but the picture is kind of far away so it's hard to tell. I have Black Copper Marans, but had one Cuckoo Maran that was given to me when I lost some my productive hens. I am not as fond of the coloring on them so I gave her back to the person who gave her to me when I restocked my hens. Marans should have much darker brown eggs than your average hen.
