Of course you can ask Frindizzle. One of my BA's was going broody about every 3 weeks and the other BA was an absolute terror to the other chickens. A friend wanted to expand her flock with a new rooster and she needed a broody since her current flock is all non-setters. Plus, she has a pretty busy egg sale business and she needed another egg layer to help keep her egg sales up. This friend knows my flock, their behavior, and since the 2 girls were inseparable, she took them both.

Things have quieted down a lot with them gone. I do kind of miss them, I raised them from 3-day olds and they were beautiful girls, but I know they'll get good care in their new home. I'll get more chicks in the spring but something other than BA's...I know a lot of others have had wonderful luck with them but that wasn't my experience with the breed.

They did. These were the people we trusted with all our animals when we had to go out of town in January and they're good people.
