A little confused because one post said 22408 and the next said 576... going with the 22408.
I have 9 in my permanent flock: 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Speckled Sussex, 3 Gold Laced Wyandotte pullets, 1 White Leghorn hen (in lay), and 1 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Cockrell.
(And 18 Gold Laced Wyandotte Cockrells for meat They won't be around that long, so I won't count them...)
Which brings our total to...
22,417
We have...
2 RIR
4 RIR/Leghorn
10 Easter Eggers
6 Black Copper Marans
2 Black Australorp
10 Black Sex Link
4 White Leghorn
1 Silver Laced Wyandotte (aka Meanie!)
I apparently neglected to add 2 new 'White Star' laying hybrids acquired April 2016. One was just killed by a fox so just one to add... RIP Dot: best chicken I've had. Chatty, inquisitive, tolerant and perky. She'd just recovered from an impacted gizzard (goosegrass seed probably) and was raring for life. I miss her.
NEW TOTAL: 22,494.
