Official BYC Poll: How many chickens do you have?

Had a friend over to visit the other day and my husband told him that I had 80 chickens. I thought to myself "No way do I have 80 chickens!" So I went around to the different pens that night and started counting. Guess what! I have 79! How did that happen?

Guess I've gotten alittle carried away.

somewhere around 400 to 450, maybe a little more, thats counting chickens, geese, quail, turkeys, pheasants and quineas.

Had to put in a good word for us minimalists-we have two, and probably won't have more (though it sure would be fun to have our two diva cochins be mommies!). We have the smallest farm in the world; a 3 x 10 garden, two big fluffy chickens, two cats, two fish, two teenage boys and Speedy the turtle. City living!
