Chicken math will kick in. See chickens are like Doritos you can't have just one, and they keep making more.

I have 29 they are about 23 weeks old now. 10 roo's , 19 pullets.

I was only supposed to have 15 chickens. I have 25 chickens in my coop right now (two hens are borrowed because they are laying, and I'm breeding for free rangers).

We have 8 laying hens, one roo.
After 3 successful hatches this summer... about 20 pullets of different ages.
9 Mallard ducks
and 7 Quail

Which is a little too many.... especially when all of these free ranging roo pullets attack you for food as soon as they see you walk across the yard!

10 grown laying hens, 2 roos and another 10 chicks that are about a week old! Keeping any and all pullets out of them, but not the roos, so presently we have 22, but that will go down after we figure out what we have. Im terrible at figuring out who's what at this age!! Ugh, and I thought young rabbits were tough to sex!!
