Alphabetical, it is the easiest way to find the information you are looking for, and is how most people are going to be comfortable seeking for it.

I think alphabetical would be the best option. I like the filters though, They helped me decide on a bread based on my needs and location.

True. However, yesterday I did a "test" search. selected American class, and rose comb, and Dominiques didn't show up......

I did the same thing and black austalorps did not show up either

Ok, we changed the default sort order on the "Breeds" tab to "Alphabetical": https://www.backyardchickens.com/products/category/chicken-breeds

We also kept the 4 most recent reviews that show at the top of the page and the ability to sort the breeds by Most Popular and Highest Rated

It is so much fun "shopping for breeds" even though I don't have any more coop space.
