We are in the thinking about it stage, we lost our old dog last month so we aren't quite ready yet. Looking into different breeds right now.
BTDT over the last 14 months...... all to well, knowing how those *shoes* feel.

Others have known about all we lost from other threads, so, for sympathy & empathy for you.... "I got her back!"
'nuff said?

I am so sorry you've been through it recently! :hugs Tough stuff, but part of keeping them. But they sure enrich our lives which totally outweighs the pain in the end.

Oh wow no one has voted “quit smoking” 😂 I wish my hubby would 😂 it doesn’t bother me that he does (mostly because he does a good job at hiding it), I just think it’s an unnecessary expense 😂

Hmm I’ll just go down the list, so this is by no means ordered by priority:

Eat healthier — mostly staying away from sugar and indirectly doing low carb when I stay away from sugar

Get in shape — sticking to a workout for longer than 2 weeks

Declutter — I can clean my house all I want, but if I have clutter that doesn’t have a place in my house it still looks messy and unorganized. Mainly decluttering old clothes, kids’ toys, shoes that don’t get worn or are worn out

Be more patient — with my kids (mostly when they fight, I never know whose right or wrong)

Listen better — my husband tells me all the time that he told me something and I never remember. Probably because I wasn’t listening 😬 So I need those tips for listening better. What are they? Eye contact and all that?

okay imma go catch up on this thread before continuing.

Part of my eat healthier resolution is to drink more water. The declutter is part of my need to be more organized with stuff and space. I lose waaaay too much time looking for stuff. The "just do it" is because I keep thinking, "I want to...." but it keeps getting postponed. Eventually, those turn into, "Why didn't I ever...?"
