Here is his soon-to-be cage, sorry about the ladder and all, the back we will screen in, and the top, and it’s a screen door with, chicken wire.

It's called 'chicken wire' because it will keep chickens inside. Any reasonable dog, raccoon, or whatever can tear it up easily.
Some critter may like your tegu way too much!

I got the X thick chicken wire. We can barely cut it with the cutters. But, I thank you for the help, we were thinking about double screening it.
 
Speaking of dog, my dog eats and possum, raccoon, so on that comes here, he even keeps coyotes away! He lives outside, and has killed many raccoons and a few possums that have came on the property. He is a cur.
 
Unfortunately my dogs also like chicken, so they are fenced away from them. May do puppies next round, easier to 'chicken proof'!

Lol, my dog does not mess with chickens, even when they go up and eat his food, he does not kill them. He realizes that I love my pets, and does not bother them, he used to hate cats, but now a cat is his best friend. Lol.
