It’s half an inch, why would you say that, I have seen many people use it.Plenty of space, but chicken wire? Most predators can get right through chicken wire! I wouldn't use it for anything like this...

I got the X thick chicken wire. We can barely cut it with the cutters. But, I thank you for the help, we were thinking about double screening it.It's called 'chicken wire' because it will keep chickens inside. Any reasonable dog, raccoon, or whatever can tear it up easily.
Some critter may like your tegu way too much!

Lol, my dog does not mess with chickens, even when they go up and eat his food, he does not kill them. He realizes that I love my pets, and does not bother them, he used to hate cats, but now a cat is his best friend. Lol.Unfortunately my dogs also like chicken, so they are fenced away from them. May do puppies next round, easier to 'chicken proof'!
