Try spraying apple cider vinegar around and soak rags in chenne pepper for coyotes...I also run a radio all the time.

Thanks! We're in the process of moving to a different state now, but I'm sure there will be coyotes no matter where we go. We'll definitely try that. We did find leaving a radio on when we were gone stopped losses... do you think they get used to it, though?

I hope not....they are suposed to have a natural fear of man but with the do folders feeding them they grow bold.
My radio has worked so far..I also pray that God watch over them...anyways I hope it helps...I just keep adding new smells...and wizard bangers

We move the radio around to different places, and point it different directions, turn it on and off at different times during the day. Assuming that way they might not get used to it.
I don't know what a Wizard Banger is either

But we use bird bombs, which you can get on line.

We have a pond fed by our creek which comes from the National Forest. For the last week we have a single otter swimming in our pond in the early morning. It did get one of the trout, ate the head and tail. The chickens are cooped and fenced. The ducks retire to the creek when the otter visits. We've just has a frenzy of duck losses in the last month. We do have other predators.
