I go to my state thread. The Washington state thread is very active, so a bunch of us must have it book marked.

I use "my posts" as my homepage. It wasn't easy to figure out how to get the link, but it's useful! Before that, I used the forum index.

Forum index. There's enough there of the recent posts (at the bottom, so I always scroll down there, and I keep a couple sections "closed" to shorten my scrolling) to let me see what's going on "right now." The two "soon to expire" auctions listed at the top are enough for me to see, otherwise I'd be buried in auctions all day.... I suppose I could bookmark "recent posts" but I do scan the forum groups for what's going on in them at the time I check in.

I used to have it bookmarked to one of the more active threads which has since slowed down, but nowadays I just go to the Forum Index.

I'm not sure why, but I always go to the home page first - I never even LOOK at it, before I go to the forum, or wherever else I need to go. I DEFINITELY think the homepage needs a boost, and it would be really easy to make it more visually interesting, and to include more dynamic content while eliminating a lot of the wasted "white space". Love the "page turn" in the upper right hand corner - that's pretty cool. I think adding more photos or graphics, would help, or even a larger area devoted to Pic of the Week. If I were to touch it up a bit, I'd make sure there was a LARGE welcome banner in place of the advertising banner at the top of that page. Sometimes it doesn't seem like a "home" page because of the ad at the top.

Either way - it's still my favorite website no matter what it's wearing

I have a shortcut to the Forum Index on my taskbar -- I never really "knew" there was a home page...

I'll read quick over the recent thread titles before checking my posts. After that, it's usually off to the "What Breed or Gender is This?" or Random Ramblings.
