Thanks! Yes, she is a house bird right now, she had prolapse and is all clear now, but I can’t put her out in the coop from house temperatures to freezing cold. Waiting for a warm spell. In the meantime she gets daily outside trips with me.Awww so cute! She's clearly enjoying the warm sun.

Winter on the Farm Photo Contest
Entering is easy, just post your pictures in this thread!

The rules:
- All entries must be submitted/posted to this thread.
- Three entries per member (an entry is one picture)
- One entry & picture per post.
- All domestic poultry allowed (chickens, waterfowl, turkeys, peafowl, quail, pheasants, guinea fowl, etc.)
- No people allowed in the photo.
- The picture needs to have been taken by you.
- No overly-edited images—basic editing such as cropping and other subtle changes are allowed.
- No watermarks, date stamps, text, etc. on the picture.
- Extra consideration for picture quality and creativity!
- ALL pictures MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
- Open to all BYC members. Staff & VPMs may enter for fun but are not eligible for prizes.
- Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
- All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
- Entries will be accepted until February 28th, 2021 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
Prizes
There will be 3 individual winners and each will receive a copy of the beautiful BYC 2021 Calendar!The calendar is available to winners that reside in the United States. If the winners are outside of the United States, they will be awarded a 1-month PFM instead.

I had a Silkie who spent two years as a House Rooster for much the same reason. By the time he was healthy enough to go out with the others it was dead-cold January and he was a solo youngster. By the time they let him into the pile-up to keep warm, he'd have frozen to death. So, Herman lived inside with us and the cats - he was fun!Thanks! LOVE!!!!first winter for shanay nay the Peking. Victoria asleep next to daddy,she has passed away she became lame at 4 months and i held on to her for 3 months after. sad
