Official Christmas Hatch! c'mon and join

oh my, oh my,

It's head seems to be stuck in the membrane. Can I help it out?

It's out! It's funny how it uses the other eggs to prop itself up. Ugg. Off to work. My husband's still home. I'll have to rely on him for updates.

Well, my hens tried but they'll be late for the Christmas hatch! One hen laid 19 eggs, and still hasn't set. The other is setting on 20 eggs that should hatch Jan 6th or 7th. Good luck every one. And Happy Holidays!

Today is day 19 for me! I've hatched a million times but I need to know something! Should I be hearing chirping by today? Or maybe tommorrow?

Mine was supposed to be a late christmas day hatch or early the 26th, but I think they'll be a day or two late. My still air has been mostly at 100 and they're growing and moving but not filling the egg yet. And it's day 18 today. I'm not even putting them on lockdown until tommorrow sometime, because I can say with a fair amount of certainty they're going to be late. Bummer. Oh well at least it still looks good for them to hatch!
Congrats to all the new chickie mommies out there and holding my breath for those of you with pips going on!!! :)

I think there's only 4 viable. These were put in after being in the nests for days and days (trying to encourage a broody). I only brought them in because it was supposed be be 10-15 degrees that night...figures, NOW I have two broodies
