They are right now confined to the kitchen. DH has been informed that he will deal with getting them clean when he gets home. AND HE CAN KEEP DEALING WITH IT UNTIL HE BREAKS DOWN AND FORKS OVER THE MONEY FOR A 6 ft. FENCE.

This is Mason! He is our 5 year old german shepherd and our problem dog...gotta love bad breeders. He has mild hip dysplasia and constant skin problems. He may be a pain sometimes but we love him!

He had TPLO surgery last tuesday so he hasn't been himself. Its going to be a slow healing process but after 8 weeks he should be back to normal. My poor guy : (

Heres my boy Wolf...My mother used to breed German Shepherds and she gave me him to raise. He was tiny for a German Shepherd and it was touch and go for a while. He lived for two years sadly he got ran over a couple of years back. I still miss him

OMG! They are jumping and running???? The butts! If they are confident jumpers a 6ft may not stop them. Might be time for an inground fence - would probably be cheaper, too.

Jax is the jumper. I've seen him go straight up and straight down on the other side, no leaping involved. Kane just wants to do whatever Jax does. They just started this nonsense, so there's going to be some serious work put into breaking this habit. How Kane got his fat butt over the fence I'll never know. No more unsupervised yard trips for awhile.

Gracie just turned nine in November, yet still acts likes she's two. Gracie is not pure breed, but if you saw her in person you would not know it. She is about 100 lbs, and has no significant health problems (just some mild hip dyplasia, a few cysts, and one benign fatty tumor, which I am told is common in the breed as the dogs age). For a majority of her life, Gracie's stomach has been very sensitive, however, recently I put her on Taste of the Wild and she has had no problems what-so-ever. I am telling you, that food has worked miracles for her over the past few weeks. Her nickname use to be Gassy, but now we may have to tease her about something else. Wait! I've got it, her new nickname will be Bissell or maybe Hoover. Gracie does have a severe floor-licking issue when boredom rears it's ugly head. I've even tried sprinkling baking soda (which is what I use to brush her teeth, and it is something she cannot stand) on both the carpet and tile floor, but it does not seem to faze her at all. Anyone have any other ideas? Keeping her constantly entertained/distracted is a challenging task.
Gracie is a very intuitive dog, over her lifetime she has learned numerous 'ping words or sounds' (as they are called in my house), and when Diane Sawyer's show starts at six-thirty at night she knows it is time to eat. As soon as she hears ABC Nightly News start, she runs and gets her dish. Gracie will bring us her leash when she needs to go out (which needless to say, we love not having to guess if she has to go).
One other interesting trait that she possess is her ability to pick up on things about people. She just knows when someone is 'bad', or when someone is in trouble. If she doesn't like someone, there is a reason for it. On a few occasions she has growled or shown some sort of protective gestures toward certain people. There was a time when we weren't living in a permanent place, and she thoroughly despised the family who lived next door. Come to find out, they were all up to no good (drugs, violent tendencies, major criminal records, you name it). You could not overtly tell this about this family, but Gracie knew. On another occasion, she started growling at the window of our apartment one night. Low and behold, a woman was being verbally & physically assaulted by her abusive husband. We called the police, and maybe just maybe Gracie saved that woman that night.
I guess now that I think about it, maybe her new nickname should be Amazing Grace. Then again, I am a little bias...
