I work at a petstore, so we get our fair share of "crazies" already. But MAN you should see it the day before, during, and after a full moon! They just come out of the WOODWORK! It's insanity (literally!). It's a small mom and pop store, but my boss seriously schedules and extra person on those days to help out with the extra work load the loons bring in! We get a bunch of people that are obsessed with certain animals and they wont stop talking to us, showing us pictures, asking us questions that not even an exotic vet would know, etc. Then we get the angries who are always in a bad mood and yell at us about totally unreasonable stuff. And we get a lot more people under the influence of alcohol and marijuana than USUAL!

Fun stuff.

I find that I'm actually happier during a full moon. There's nothing like getting off work and driving home under the huge, gorgeous mother moon! I have a hard time keeping my eyes on the road, it's like every time I see the full moon I forget how breath taking it is!

Ok my fellows .. I could use some good energy today.. I am a Manager at a hotel and am younger then ANY of my employees.. Latley it seems someone has an issue with me everyday.. I havent changed anything from what I have been doing for the last two years.. This is really starting to get to me as I am friends with most of my staff.. I dont know if its the moon or planets but I am just soooo tired of all this.. I got pulled into the office the other day for something I said to a head housekeeper , I discussed a cleamliness issue with her and I guess she had already had a bad morning so she got upset and threatened to resign to our boss.. Now she did tell the boss that I was not rude or yelling at her , but that it just upset her because of other things.. NOw I have to bring every issue I have with cleanliness to Our boss and not the Head House.. I am just soo frustrated with my job getting changed everytime someone whines.... And it hurts when a so called "Friend" pins you in the corner and rips you apart for doing your job.. NOw another talk with the boss were I am having to defend myself and my actions... This job aint worth the money...

Sorry for the rant, but I could really use some peaceful energy today..

I am so glad I found this thread . I am a solitary eclectic and have been for 12 years now. My husband is Shamanic with Shawnee roots .

For anyone in our area we have an huge library of books on many subjects and just cause we are solitary doesnt mean we dont love company. We usually have a large bonfire and feast at samhein and I send an open invitation to anyone who would like to come if I can get it organized this year . Missed the last 2 years due to family problems that took us away from home .

Well . I am really a transplanted Buckeye but my heart yearns for the Kentucky/Tennesee border area . Just love the mountains down there , I am an earth person and the energy there is awesome . DH is more water but he loves the rivers and streams of the mountains . We thought that when we finally got an empty nest we would head that way but the kids keep coming back. We have our 34 year old son with us now but he is trying to find a place of his own , at least he says he is trying.

I know what you mean. I'm from Iowa and I miss that state every day, even when the weather reports are so scary. I too am all about Earth but we lived in California for awhile and I found that there was a very strong pull from the ocean. Of course living in Iowa we were never more than 30 minutes from a wonderful lake or river or stream or pond too so I've got some water thing going on too I guess.
