Who wrote Mother, Maiden, Crone? It sounds interesting. Paganism of any type seems much more accepting of the different stages in a woman's life.

Is there anything similar for men? Father, Youth, Wise Man?

I wonder if this book would be good? It is called On Being Pagan

Actually, if there was something like that for men it would be called Infant, Child and REally Big Child.

Sometimes I crack myself up. I thought On Being Pagan was a little dry but it had some good info. I have Spiral Dance out to re-read.

Which is better? I can usually only buy one book at a time.

the star cluster is the pleiades or seven sisters, i dreamt something about seven sisters but had no idea what it was about so i searched it and discovered it was a constellation, its kinda strange, every ancient culture has a myth or legend about that cluster, i just found it very synchronistic, its also referenced in popular music, and my grandmother called it the little dipper

Speaking of books, and tangential to paganism, I'm interested in a text on celebrating and "tying in to" the seasons and the land. Not from a worship point of view, as I'm not interested in a religion per se but more a philosophy.

I hope that makes sense.

Never heard of that book, it could be interesting. I have heard of Mother, Maiden, Crone, let me google.....http://www.amazon.com/Maiden-Mother-Crone-Reality-Goddess/dp/0875421717 Oh yes, D.J. Conway. I have read a couple of hers, not too bad. The only book that I know of that was written directly for men is Wiccan Warrior. Looks like he has written a few books.

My thought would be that there isn't a "Youth, Father, Wise Man" type book because of the death of the God in the cycle of the year, where as the Goddess stays on.
