I don't have any right now but I am going to hatch some friends eggs in 6-7 months. Any advice about the breed is appreciated and helpful. I can't wait as I have always loved them!!!

I currently own sebrights, a serama, and black tailed japanese bantams. Hatching some sebrights and japanese. Only one serama, but mine is sassy, Very docile and loves being held by humans, fabulous with children, quiet, her “cluck” sounds like shes breathing. Thats how quiet she is. I never get egg songs, maybe some small small tiny clucks a few times after laying an egg, but thats it.

I do notice she really doesn’t like hanging out with chicks, and she is fine with other chickens, but if they get in her bubble, she snaps. Thats the only time she will.

She was amazing with the silkie rooster though!
