There is a difference between the two, articles and threads, I'm looking for a more specific answer. :oops:
i would write an article, people also do articles for their coops
a thread will get cluttered with chit-chat about them and you will lose the pertinent information that you are trying to remember and compare

Thread: Sometimes called a "topic" is a set of "messages" (sometimes called "posts") in our community discussion forum. An individual creates a thread and then other members can post replies (posts/messages). The replies are added in chronological order.

Article: A single page of information that the author wants to share with the world. Our articles section is full of examples of helpful pages. Articles are not commonly used for asking questions or engaging others in a discussion.
 
CHICKEN WORD DEFINITIONS:

Chick = young, baby chicken
Pullet = immature female chicken
Cockerel = immature male chicken
Hen = adult female chicken
Rooster/Cock= adult male chicken
Capon = castrated male chicken
 
duck - a species but also can refer to female ducks
hen - female duck
drake - male duck

poult - baby turkey
jenny - young female turkey
jake - young male turkey
tom or gobbler - a mature male turkey
hen - mature female turkey

keet - baby guinea
adults are hens/cocks

quails are also chicks, hens and cocks

peachicks - baby pea fowl
peacock - male peafowl
peahen - female peafowl
