OK. My response was to the person who posted that it was too much of a Texas Chainsaw Massacre/Deliverance possibility for them. If you saw the original version of Deliverance, the film began with a duet being played on banjo and guitar.

In the original version of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the people were being murdered so the family patriarch could use them in his prize winning chili recipe - when winning the prize, he stated that "the secret is in the meat."

So my segue went from Deliverance, to Texas Chainsaw massacre and the humanitarian tendencies of the family patriarch.

It also reminds me of a scene in "Fried Green Tomatoes" when one of the characters went missing and the detective went into the local restaurant for something to eat and ordered ribs. The detective asked if they knew the where the missing person was and Cicely Tyson's character said no and the detective said the ribs were very good and Cicely Tyson's character told the detective "the secrets in the sauce".
