Oh Craigslist, You Amuse Me So!

Dogs don't possess certain cones in the retina that process color. Hence why they are color blind.

It appears one of us lacks a functioning funny bone today.....

I understand the biology of dogs having more rods than cones in their eyes. Thank you for reminding us the dog does not know what it looks like.

To be totally honest I doubt any dog is aware of what it looks like, cares what it looks like, or has even thought about what it looks like.

Therefore, I truly doubt a dogs self esteem is reliant on the dogs appearance.

I beg to differ, Ralphie.. We had a great Pyrenees when I was young, and I thought she looked so hot with all that fur in the middle of the summer... So I took a sheep shears and gave her a new do, made her look like a lion with a mane and a poof on her tail, the whole 9 yards...

Aside from me getting my hide tanned so bad I couldn't sit for a week, she wouldn't come out of the dog house for about a year, and when she did, she looked super embarrassed :D

I'm more concerned with the OWNER of a dog that looks like fruit loops...you know how they say "a dog takes after their owner" ;)

lol sadly I do not have photos of my dyed show girl. The first round I did it with blueing and the second was using blu kolt  she sported a purple tail and crest for months.

I have had blue arms and hands myself for months with blu-kote..
That would be my fear. A friend came by to visit after treating a feisty bantam roo who challenged the wrong bird.. At some point during application, he had flapped & she had little blue freckles on her face, neck, arms, & legs.

I use a pink balm now instead of blu kote for that reason and the blu kote spray cans always plug up.

I saw these two ads on craigslist this afternoon.

Seriously, they couldn't take better photos than that?:
