I'd take them, I love fresh coconut. And if you take off the green husk, let the coconut dry, then you can paint on them. I used to work at a gift shop where we painted them and sold them to tourists. The post office will actually mail a coconut (without it being in a box) if you have the address on it and pay postage.

Wow really that's awesome! I had no idea there were so many uses.

I just thought it was a little weird advertising coconuts... in Florida. Where you can literally get as many as you want. And expecting you to climb the tree to get them

Depending how tall the tree is, you can use a telescopic pole pruner to get them off. Fully ripe ones will drop off the tree by themselves (which can be hazardous to anything or anyone standing nearby). Coconut palms only grow in about the southern 1/4th of Florida, it's too cold for them in the rest of the state.

Probably why they are wanting somebody to pick them. I remember an episode of Gilligan's Island where Gilligan(?) got hit on the head by a falling coconut. You could imagine lawsuits in this litigious era.

I hadn't even thought of a pole, whoops. And really!? I didn't know they were only in a certain part of the state. That makes sense then.

And yeah, i think i read something once where someone once got killed by a coconut or at least in the hospital
