Wow. :( I know people who free range and don't feed but every winter they make sure their birds have rations of food because bugs and plants die for the season where they live. Being winter is around the corner (or already here in full force for some areas) this irks me too. I personally have given away roosters and stated in the ad that if someone doesn't hurry he'll be in my soup pot. I got a few ugly emails for that :/ Now I just state what breed/location and to hurry!

Aaawwww poor thing!

I got Mr. French 4 years ago from a sanctuary in Northwest Iowa, he had been struck by a tractor trailer and had a broken back. They fixed him up, and as fate would have it I read the story of this magnificent creature and made the descision, Mr. French was to be mine.

We have lived a very simple life in our cottage here on Smith House, keeping to ourselves or just strolling down Fitch Path. If you live here you have no doubt seen us walking or either thrown garbage or vulgaritys at us.

Many may laugh, think I'm a joke, but that Mr. French is my only friend.

I went to grandmothers for the family feast this past week, leaving Mr. French behind as grandmother is afraid of SARS and the bird flu. Anyways Mr. French has a heated water bowl, a fully decorated shed from Lowes(insulated heated full electric), and tons of feed.

I returned from Iowa only to find Mr. French gone, and in his place a note stating these words.....YUM, YUM!!

Someone took my Mr. French and I fear the worst, I rescued, relocated, and fed him for someone to put stuffing up his butt and throw him on the table.

Any info on Mr. Frenches whereabouts will be greatly appreciatiated, as for me I'll be walking down Smith House and Fitch Path with my turkey call looking for my dear friend.

Mr. French, if your out there I will find you, cause thats what we do.........

Radio and Hatch are types of game birds, I believe.
