Some people do keep them in the house but usually it's Nigerian Dwarfs, large breeds like that and eating off the table is weird and gross lol also some people do raise them inside then move them outside like the buckling

Another case of cleaning out the barn & charging big $ for junk.
Am I the only one who finds these vintage tables gross?
I think I'd rather bring that goat into my house.... at least it would pre-wash our dirty dishes.

I don't know, I think those things are pretty cool actually haha but not for that price but people are really into reclaimed stuff now and will buy anything lol but i never thought of the gross factor tbh... you're right... chicken poo and all.. why'd you have to ruin it for me!?

Looks like a local feed store probably. Some people don't mind paying a little more to support local small businesses. I imagine Bozeman being expensive like Alaska but with cheaper and faster shipping options lol

I think they're neat too. I think they could be cleaned and sterilized and sealed.

My sister used to live in Belgrade, it's a little town not far from Bozeman. I only visited her there a couple of times but at least back then (about 15 yrs ago), there weren't a lot of shopping options so you pretty much had to buy at the small locally-owned stores unless you ordered online or drove to the next town. Someone probably was just getting into chickens, bought what they needed at a local farm store, then the weasels got their chickens and they gave up.
