Hmm, interesting. My cousins & I are planning a trip to Ft. Collins next month. We we're just going shopping but what the hey, I'll float this idea past them...maybe they'd rather help me dig up an irrigation ditch instead. Not! :lau
What seems funny to me it looks as if it was a county dirt road that it was next to, might be wrong......

This isn't exactly an amusing Craigslist story, more of a" I use Craigslist and people leave me very confused" kind of story. I sell chickens and sometimes rabbits and have for years, I'm smart, and careful and only meet people in public. No one comes to my house. I've never had a disgruntled customer and I've had a lot of repeat customers. No one dissatisfied that I know of. But many times people will text me and ask every question that I have posted in my ad already. How much are they? What color are they? How old are they? What breed are they? Where are you located? They will sometimes text over several hours asking these and many other questions at the end of which they will say Okay I want them. But I will never hear from them again. This has happened several times and it leaves me stumped. Are they bored? Lonely? Or do they just get off on jerking someone around? Maybe it's a child? That's fine, in that case I'll keep being patient, and Confused. Any thoughts?

The repeat questions happen to me alot, but i think it's folks that start texting several people at once, then can't remember which ad they are conversing about.
When I text someone about their ad, I also text myself a link to the ad for reference. I wish others would be so kind.
I don't get many of the ones that say they want things, and never reply again (it has happened a few times), but I do get ones that say "I'll get back with you" and never do.

Sounds like "NFCL" - normal for CL.

I find that it is often the kids who ask a whole bunch of questions and then say " I need to ask my dad if I can have one....."

We see that a lot here. My neighbor would have to pay to have their shed demolished. It was in decent shape, so they gave it away on CL instead. Within a couple hours, some strong guys showed up in a pick up. They took it apart and in just a few trips delivered it to its new home a few miles away. They were thankful to get a free shed and my neighbors saved the disposal costs.

...Of course as they were moving the shed I realized, "Hey! I could have used it as a bigger chicken coop!"
