Wow here I thought blinders were only used on cranky male pheasants! I bet if they were kept in a kennel they might be grouchy enough to need something like that.

Pheasant are the only thing I've had to use blinders on but apparently, your mileage may vary!

Hm. Seems to be a lot of "assumptions" being made about that single photo. What I see is a nice clean cage with a treat cup being used to stage a photo session. Nice job, seller!

True about the assumptions. Maybe they were just put in a crate for their photo shoot and rehoming.... hard to say. I still wonder if that one hen has blinders on, though!

Lack of kennel wall stains and their tidy feather condition indicates to me that the birds were caught and temporarily placed in there for a photo. A stay of even a few days would make a big mess all over them. Trust me, I know! I do agree that the prices are weird, though.

Maybe not common, but they're pretty standard for bully chooks that the owner doesn't want to eat. I don't know if it's location-oriented or not, but I've definitely seen it used before.

Why would someone get not one but TWO cattle dogs and then be surprised that they take a lot of time and work and rehome them!? SMH. Yes they do need a lot of work and exercise but one of them is only 8 months old... why not just rehome the puppy and keep the older one? Or why even get the puppy to begin with!?
