Guinea fowl are amaising birds and great to have in the yard!! You won't ever worrie about a rattle snakes again!! Once old enough they will chase cats that think the guinea is a meal, until the cat knows not to mess with it. They can fend off hawks, and possims. They will alert if there is something in your yard that should be there. 90% of the guinea's diet is out of your yard, instead of a chicken where they eat only about 10% out of the yard. The guinea don't break up the ground that they forrige in, and you won't have to cut the grass as much. The eggs, thou smaller, taste better than chicken eggs!! They live for at least ten years. I have baby guineas know as keets. Right now they need a heat light, and until they fully feather out.( maybe another 3 or 4 weeks) once they are ready to move out of the brooder into their coop, they will need to be keept inside of the coop for six weeks so they know where their home is. Once you are done with the lock in it will be time to let them roam in the yard!!! Their is a book that can give you the whole life cycle of guineas so you will know what to expect. If you want to buy some $15 per keet, they are worth it!! Call Chris at 858 382 0682

Maybe I would call you if you could spell and type!

Isn't something like this "person specific"? Don't you have to be fit and measured for this??????????

I have to say I didn't know that there was a Indonesian breed of horse. I am now better educated about Java/ Kumingan Ponies.
