Hello I'm with xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Some of our fosters are in need of chicken wire to put under our homes to prevent our foster dogs from getting out. If anyone has any to spare please contact me and I can pick it up. Thank you!

This beautiful little hen, originally bought to remove bloodsucking vermin from our back yard has been an industrious worker, evidenced by the fact we have only found 2 ticks on our dogs in as many months, in spite of the previous half a decade of any and all mammals here living in fear of being something's walking meal. She could still be a she, and may start laying eggs as early as 8/1/11- 8/15/11. She has a bright, light, ultra blue wattle, silkie feathers, and stockinged feet, which means with the right lighting, she could lay through the winter for you. Should she prove to be a hen, 2-3 of her dark brown eggs will equal one store bought egg in size. The eggs are purportedly good for people with high cholesterol and/or blood pressure. Should Madame Charmeuse turn out to be a rooster, in spite of her compact body, short tail feathers, and lack of frothy crown, he would be a good show chicken for a chicken fancier to win some ribbons. Her vocal talents are only matched by the neighbor who, since Madame Charmeuse has started crowing recently, has been incited to play the vuevuelooza, or some other brass instrument at odd hours. While this may cause said neighbor's children to dance, and may further contribute to driving out unwanted pests from the neighborhood, it only ramps up Madame Charmeuse's desire to stake out her territory by crowing more loudly and insistently. Male or Female I cannot inflict a crowing chicken on the denizens of the area, especially with such an atrocious brass accompaniment.
