Tiger mosquitoes. They are an introduced pest. They are the ones that are active in the daytime.

When they bite, it feels like a wasp or bee sting. It HURTS !!!!!!!!! Numbs the entire area.

The really bad thing about tiger mosquitoes is that they are a vector for the transmission of many viral pathogens, including the West Nile virus, Yellow fever virus, St. Louis encephalitis, dengue fever, and Chikungunya fever.
