I don't know how to post from Craig's List, but I just saw a Taxidermy mounted rooster located in Charlottesville, VA. It was posted about 6 hours ago. Hopefully someone could try to find it. It even has a picture and IMHO, it is really horrible. Looks like something flattened on the road. Yuck! (my apologies for my technical shortcomings).

This is a real rooster, mounted for a wall hanging using taxidermy methods. He is fully cleaned and preserved, mounted 'rug style' in a 3-dimensional lay, so that his body has good depth. . A gorgeous cross between Hamburg and White Rock, this handsome boy was just a bit too flighty to keep as a breeder. I have more photos if you would like, and in high resolution so you can see the detail. His feathers are stunning; shiny and full of detail. This is a one-of-a-kind. Great Christmas gift for the chicken lover.

I tried to photograph him inside and out in an attempt to show the shiny nature of his feathers. He is white white white with a silvery sheen, with black spots, and the tail has some hints of brown/gray mixed in. Very pretty rooster. He has the rose type comb of the Hamburg.
