Oh Craigslist, You Amuse Me So!

On the other hand, this is an overweight horse.

This is my cousins horse which has been diagnosed with Insulin Resistance (basically horse diabetes). She is not allowed to have any sugars right now only soaked hay to remove the sugar ~ not an easy diet. She has already lost 50 pounds and has another 150 to lose.

I need to get me some of those cookoo Marons or wyeen dots LOL. And maybe a good ruster to go with em.

That's the best one yet! Wonder if those are fighting rusters?

Granted I've seen a lot of REALLY buff TBs that are that thin there... It's really hard to tell on this filly without palpating her. She's shaggy, and REALLY leggy looking. She doesn't have the classic sunken neck you see, either. She needs a good curry comb before I say yay or nay on her size.
I do horse rescue, visit the local auctions & feedlot once in a while so to me the mare looks skinny. Around here horses cant really go down a whole lot farther before bad things happen. Im just glad her neck & the area over her butt isnt completely sunken, & her ribs arent totally bared. Then again she still looks kinda shaggy so if she were shed out maybe her ribs would show more... I know some horses drop weight this time of year, but for me the thing I really do not like is how the area that ive red lined is so narrow (shoulda put the line a little more to the left though). When that area starts to look like that I really worry. Just my opinion.

My horse is kinda fat to. I think I agree though the horse is a little to skinny for my liking.

1) I can't say I've ever heard of a breed "Hussie" LOL
2) Is it a male or female (or has it not decided)?
3) What is the name?

LOL

Oh CL you never let me down....

Looks like a sweet dog.
