Oh help plz!!!

So I need a needleless syringe. I will have to look to see if I have one. I have one with the needle to get the liquid out of the bottle. So far she hasn’t had another episode and she even swam in the pool. She walks with very slow and measured steps. I tried the bread thing. I even put some mealworms with it. She won’t eat. Not even tempted a little bit. I’ll see what I can figure out.

Can you unscrew the needle on the one you have.

Oh, I'm so sorry this happen! And I know it is so shocking, please keep us updated on how your little duckling is doing, if you find out what the issue is or what seems to help. I just lost one of my Rhode Island chicks to my chocolate lab puppy..she just wanted to play..it happen so quick! I tried to keep her alive but she died that evening.

Tractor Supply sells 3 ml needless syringes and most pharmacies sell oral dosing syringes.

It's ok.
She is fine now...no rush.
Take your time.
What brand name feed are you feeding them?

It sounds to me that it is a seizure. No one knows why this happens it could be due to many things. However I would think if it was a seizure maybe this would have happened earlier. Usually back to back or same day indicates a seizure. For that there is nothing you can do medically however you can keep her comfortable and relaxed. I would agree with Kikisgirls it may be the feed. I hope she feels better soon. I am also so sorry to hear about BettyBoops baby. You can only do what you can do unfortunately there are not a lot of Avian Vets. Please keep us updated.

My poor duckling has had 2 more seizures. I still can’t get her to eat anything. The vet couldn’t either. Barely can get her to drink. We’re at a vet so idk if I’m going to be able to get any answers or not. The vet said her heartbeat was irregular. Other than that, physically she looks good. She’s still a bit shaky. They’re checking a couple of things on her and depending on how those come out, I’ll go from there. Here’s hoping for the best. :fl
