OH My!! bonus added pics of what we started today on the chicken run!

Got a gift certificate to home depot for my birthday on the 12th. So I went out and bought 6 4x4x7 posts for the run. some 2x4 to frame in the back end of the shed for the coop. Oh and I have sunny weather all weekend!!!

and the wife is in Texas...so I can have alot done before she gets home and says NO!!! Hehehehe.

Hope this picture thing works lol Got post in today and waiting on the cement to set. Will then get to work on framing it in tommorow!!

My husband is of the opinion that it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission (which I usually won't grant anyways....). But I think that if I came home from a trip to a new chicken run, he might earn himself some extra favors.

LOL, sounds like something I'd do while DH is away! And what a great idea... with the holidays coming up I'll be hoping Santa gives me gift cards to Home Depot or our local feed store! DH is SO lucky... no jewelry wishes here... just chick'n feed, emu chow, scratch...
