Wow, those are tough little guys!! I guess I don't have to worry about my 4 and 6 yo being to rough on them! How do they get such a good hatch rate after they poke a hole in the egg at 18 days??

Sooo, little babies we hatch at home should be much healthier then ones from hatcheries?? I mean, I dont know anyone who throws their chicks down hatches....

I've seen a cat throw a chick or two down the hatch before... Mamma hen was extremely upset...
